AUSTRALIA'S seamers this morning seized control of their World Cup semi-final against South Africa, as they look to set up a meeting with hosts India in Sunday's showpiece.

Starc returns in style as he grabs initiative for Australia

Having won the toss and chosen to bat, South Africa crumbled to 24 for four in the face of brilliant new-ball spells from Josh Hazlewood and Mitchell Starc.

Five-times champions Australia had begun the tournament with back-to-back defeats, including against South Africa last month, but won seven matches on the spin to resurrect their campaign.
