THE DELHI HIGH Court Tuesday dismissed Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's plea against his arrest by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the Delhi excise policy case, saying that the investigation agency was in "possession of enough material" which showed that he was "actively involved in the formulation" of the excise policy.
The single-judge bench of Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma said, "The present petition challenges the arrest of the petitioner and states that the arrest was in violation of Section 19 PMLA (Prevention of Money Laundering Act).
