LUDHIANA: In a major development, the Ludhiana-Rupnagar National Highway Project 1 has been finally revived with the possession of entire land acquired for the project, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has said.

Shelved Ludhiana-Rupnagar NH project revived: MP Arora

According to Rajya Sabha MP Sajneev Arora, NHAI project director has written to the construction company concerned that possession of the entire 37.7 km project length has been acquired by pillar fixing.

The NHAI project director has asked the construction company to commence the work on the project immediately and ensure that all necessary resources, including manpower and machinery, are mobilised at the site accordingly.
