LUCKNOW: In a sweeping administrative reshuffle late Thursday night, the Yogi Adityanath government transferred 46 IAS officers, introducing significant changes in key departments. Sanjay Prasad has made a notable comeback to the home department as principal secretary, overseeing home, visa, passport, and vigilance.
Prasad, who was earlier relieved of this charge before the Lok Sabha elections, will also continue as principal secretary to the chief minister and principal secretary for protocol, information, and publicity.
Deepak Kumar, who held these roles earlier, has been reassigned to finance as ACS and given additional responsibility for basic education.
