DHANBAD: The Dhanbad division of Indian Railways has once again claimed the top spot as the highest freight-earning division in India for December 2024.
The division recorded a total revenue of ₹2,324.84 crore, surpassing the Bilaspur division (₹2,107.22 crore), Khurda Road division (₹1,324.84 crore), and Chakradharpur division (₹1,139.66 crore). At a press conference, Kamal Kishore Sinha, Dhanbad divisional railway manager (DRM), shared the division's achievements.
