BHAGALPUR:
The incident took place at Nayachak Middle School under Nathnagar block of the district following which the district education officer (DEO) has asked block education officer (BEO) to probe the incident.
The two officials who were held hostage in the school have been identified as district project manager (DPM) Amit Kumar Verma and block project manager (BPM) Gaurav Kumar alias Gunjan. Curiously, BPM is serving suspension.
On Wednesday afternoon, the two reached the school for inspection and allegedly the DPM was drunk and he was smoking in the school.
