{BALASORE TRAIN TRAGEDY} - 4 months later, 28 unclaimed bodies to be cremated

More than four months after the train tragedy in Bahanaga Bazar station of Odisha's Balasore district killed 296 passengers and left over 1,100 injured, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation on Sunday said 28 unclaimed bodies in frozen containers at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences would be mass cremated in the state capital over the next couple of days.

On the evening of June 2, the Chennai-bound Coromandel Express crashed into a stationary goods train at Bahanaga Bazar. A few of its derailed coaches then collided with the onrushing Howrah-bound Yeshwantpur-Howrah Express in what was India's worst rail accident in three decades.
