ELEVEN gardai awere suspended this year over allegations of wrongdoing including two accused of sexual misconduct.
One officer has been put off duty for domestic violence reasons, and one for alleged drugs offences.
In total, 113 gardai are currently suspended, according to documents released under the Freedom of Information Act.
Criminal barrister and Fine Gael senator Barry Ward said it is important cases are properly investigated.
