SAM ALLARDYCE has turned to a trio of Leeds legends in a desperate bid to beat the drop.
Former title-winning heroes Eddie Gray, Gary McAllister and Gordon Strachan (all above) have addressed Allardyce's squad heading into tomorrow's crunch visit of Tottenham.
It's a match Leeds must win to have any hope of survival.
Allardyce, who has moved training from Thorp Arch to Elland Road for three days this week, said yesterday: "Gordon's been here today.
"These players had very successful times here and they can help improve our mentality.
"Somebody speaking about what they did at this football club and how much they love this club is really important." Gray twice won the First Division title as a player with Leeds under Don Revie and was in charge when the club was last relegated from the Premier League in 2004.
