MEHMAN must be strongly fancied to retain his unbeaten polytrack record and defy the handicapper in the five-furlong Willie Buckley Memorial Handicap in Dundalk.
The Ger O'Leary-trained four-year is three-from-three over course and distance and has looked a highly progressive sprinter in two wins since the turn of the year.
In both of his recent victories, the four-year-old Mehmas gelding has travelled strongly through the race under Mark Enright, swooping late to deny his 11-year-old stable-companion Primo Uomo by a neck when the pair clashed in early January.
