TWO men have appeared in court charged with the murder of Dylan McCarthy.
Mr McCarthy, 29, died following an alleged assault during what a court heard was a "large altercation" between two groups in Kildare in August last year.
Sean Kavanagh, 24, of St Mary's Lane, Monasterevin and 23-year-old Calvin Dunne of Abbey View, Monasterevin appeared in Naas District court yesterday charged with his murder on August 21.
They are also charged with violent disorder at the same location on the same date.
Kavanagh meanwhile is also charged with assault causing harm to Eamon McCarthy during the same alleged incident.
