DISNEY is celebrating the role of stunning Skellig Michael from its blockbuster Star Wars franchise as the movie giant marks its 100th anniversary.
The company yesterday released a series of new images as it recreates iconic scenes from films over the last century since its launch on October 16, 1923.
Skellig Michael was the location for many top scenes in 2015 flick Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
The island off Kerry’s Iveragh Peninsula is one of only two UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Ireland.
