IRISH TV star Peter O’Riordan has revealed he and his family have lost everything in the Maui wildfires.

Officials confirmed yesterday at least 80 people have died in what is officially the US state’s worst natural disaster.

The news comes as questions mount over whether officials warned residents in Hawaii fast enough.

Firefighters have been tirelessly trying to contain fires in several areas, including the historic town of Lahaina which has been utterly devastated.

Former Xpose presenter Peter, who lives with his family in the town, said yesterday it had been the “hardest day of my life”.

He explained how he, along with his sons Romeo and Oliver, and their mother Stephanie Evans, had to leave behind his destroyed home.

Speaking in an emotional video, he revealed: “This has by far been the hardest day of my life.

“Just got out of Lahaina now, dropped off two full truck loads again today. I’m numb, we just got out.

“Looting is out of control, they have shut down the town, no in and no out.

“Like everybody else I have lost everything.
