We all know the line: Nobody puts Baby in the corner.

For a generation of us, Dirty Dancing was the soundtrack to our teens, the ultimate coming of age movie.

As the stage show comes to the Bord Gais Energy Theatre in Dublin, SIOBHAN O'CONNOR went along to rehearsals to try it out for herself...

In the late 80s every teen girl dreamed of being Jennifer Grey as Baby Houseman and finding their real life Johnny, as played by Patrick Swayze.

I still get a rush of exhilaration watching the final scene.

It's a goosebump moment when Johnny takes Baby's hand and guides her to the stage.

Fast forward over three decades since my Dirty Dancing obsession started and my dream is about to become a reality. I was invited to take a Dirty Dancing masterclass with Michael O'Reilly, 25, (Johnny) and 23-year-old Georgia Aspinall (Penny), putting me through my paces.
