PROTESTERS will stage what is being billed as a “peaceful” demonstration today in response to a controversial homily by Fr Sean Sheehy.
The priest prompted a massive backlash after he told Mass-goers same-sex relationships, transgenderism and contraception should be condemned.
Organisers of the event, which will take place outside St Mary’s Church, Listowel, Co Kerry, at 11.35am, described it as a “peaceful and loving response” to his words.
