THINGS haven't gone well for many United players this season but Antony is right down at the bottom of the list alongside Jadon Sancho.
Sancho's stock has fallen through the floor after his bust-up with Erik ten Hag saw him frozen out of all first-team activities and even more damning has been the complete lack of clamor for his recall to the team.
United have been absolutely dreadful for the most part. Even their victories have been dire, lucky, narrow wins. Yet, no one has called for Sancho to return.
So while things aren't quite that bad for Antony, they are not far off. Instead of no one asking for him to come back into the team, there are plenty demanding the Brazilian be removed from the starting XI. A wish that has come true in the past two games.
United have limited options on the right flank given Sancho's unavailability but even still the rest look better than Antony. Be it Marcus Rashford playing in his worst position, Mason Mount or Bruno Fernandes playing out wide or Facundo Pellistri coming into the fold. All are better options at the moment.
