'A book launch like no-one has seen before'

SACHA Lord is set to host a gig this April in a secret location to mark an important milestone.

The Parklife and Warehouse Project boss will hold a gig for 300 people in a derelict Manchester venue, to mark the launch of his new book.

Last year, it was announced that Lord would be penning a tell-all book about the Manchester club scene. Tales from the Dance will hit floor shelves this April, tracing the city's nightlife from the 1990s to present.

Announcing the news on social media last night, the Night Time Economy Advisor for Greater Manchester revealed that the oneoff, secret event will be held at an undisclosed, never-before-used location in the city centre, which will be revealed to attendees the night before via text.

The evening will kick-off with a Q&A with Sacha Lord and co-author Luke Bainbridge, speaking on the unprecedented rise of Manchester and how the city became the capital of nightlife before the venue transforms to host the party.
