WARNINGS have been issued over possible disruption with snow set to fall on Greater Manchester this week.
Arctic winds are beginning to sweep in over the UK bringing with them a severe cold snap.
The Met Office has now issued yellow weather warnings for snow and ice, which cover our region, for tomorrow and Wednesday.
The Met Office says parts of northern Scotland could see around 10cm of snow by tomorrow. Forecasters predict the snow will then move south over the course of the week, with the potential for wintry weather in parts of northern England tomorrow, including in Greater Manchester.
