Ilkay Gundogan may have departed but Kalvin Phillips has made clear his intention to stay and fight and there is yet to be movement towards the exit door from Bernardo Silva.

The Portugal international, fresh from celebrating his wedding, is looking to leave for the third summer in a row but still hasn't foundthe club that will  suit all parties. That doesn't mean that Bernardo definitely won't leave, and City are keeping their options open in the transfer market as they wait.

There is no shortage of midfielders that Pep Guardiola rates, and after showing enough interest in Declan Rice to put a £90m bid together before conceding to Arsenal there are still several targets; Celta midfielder Gabri Veiga is one of the more interesting names on the list.
