MANCHESTER City star lack Grealish was among hundreds of people sending a birthday message to a Blues fanatic as she turned 106.
City fan Mary Spiers celebrated the incredible landmark yesterday listening to the club begin their latest title defence with a 2-0 Victory over Chelsea.
Although her eyesight is waning she still listens to all their matches on the radio.
Ahead of her birthday, bosses at Bowerfleld Court care home in Disley, near Stockport, put out an appeal for people to send her cards.
They were hoping to get 106 for her to open. But after their appeal was shared by the M.E.N they were inundated and received over 460, including some from as far afield as Hong Kong and Ireland.
Mary inherited a love of the Blues from her family. And her life has been so long she has been alive for all but one of the 34 major honours the club has won in its history.
