RISHI Sunak has dismissed claims he lied to the mother of a Manchester Arena bombing victim by promising to pass anti-terror legislation hours before calling a general election.
The prime minister has insisted Martyn's Law named after Figen Murray's 29-year-old son who was killed at the Ariana Grande gig in 2017 mer.
It comes after Mrs Murray, 62, walked 200 miles from Manchester to London to meet the Prime Minister as part of her campaign to introduce the new law. She met Mr Sunak on Wednesday, May 22 - the sixth anniversary of the Manchester Arena attack that claimed 22 lives hours before he announced an election on July 4.
