Shop owner's plea to catch raider who stole FIFTEEN wedding dresses

THE owner of a bridal shop is urgently appealing for information after 15 wedding dresses were taken from the store on New Year's Day.

Deborah Bayan, from Stockport, received a distraught call from an eyewitness to warn her that her window had been damaged and items were missing.

She raced to the shop, Deborah Bayan's Design Studio, to find extensive damage to the front window display. It was only upon investigating further she noticed 15 dresses had been taken, along with other items including jewellery, flower girl dresses and veils.

In a bid to make sure the brides, some of whom are due to get married in two weeks' time, didn't go without their dresses, Deborah personally funded and assisted with a replacement for every missing dress.

She has since sought CCTV from the surrounding area to find the culprit.
