Trial told murder accused stabbed his sister's ex

A MAN fatally stabbed his sister's 'nuisance' ex in a sustained attack after he repeatedly turned up at her house, prosecutors allege.

Liam Fosbrook, 28, of Wythenshawe, is accused of the murder of Dylan Towers and is on trial at Minshull Street Crown Court.

Jurors heard that Dylan, aged 35, had been 'causing trouble' with Mr Fosbrook's sister, who he had previously been in a relationship with, by repeatedly attending at her house.

In the early hours of December 17 2021, Mr Fosbrook 'took the law into his own hands' when he confronted Dylan and repeatedly stabbed him, including to the neck, prosecutors allege.

Dylan was taken to hospital but died from his injuries 12 days later, the court heard. Mr Fosbrook denies the offence of murder and an alternate offence of manslaughter.
