CITY have signed 18-year-old Alex Alcala from LA Galaxy.
The Mexican has been described as one of the most exciting talents to come out of the US and has penned a deal with the reigning Premier League champions and Champions League holders.
City Football Group reached an agreement with the MexicanAmerican midfielder in 2020 and activated a purchase option from a 2020 agreement upon the midfielder turning 18.
Alcala is said to have impressed City during two stints with the club and has also had opportunities at Barcelona’s world-renowned La Masia academy and Pachuca, in Mexico.
He is expected to stay with the club’s academy for the rest of the season but could be sent out on loan next season.
