Lokayukta Police questions CM Siddaramaiah for 2 hrs in Muda land allotment case

Siddaramaiah, accused of irregularities in allotting sites to his wife, was questioned for two hours by a team led by Lokayukta Superintendent of Police T J Udesh.

The investigation centres around the allotment of 14 prime sites in Mysuru's Vijayanagar Layout to Siddaramaiah's wife, Parvathi B M, under MUDA's 50:50 scheme. The scheme, which allocates developed land to those whose property is acquired for urban development, is alleged to have been misused in this case. The MUDA plots allocated to Parvathi were reportedly of much higher value compared to the undeveloped land she originally owned.
