WHAT MAKES IRELAND A TOP DESTINATION FOR INT'L STUDENTS

Ireland, known as the 'land of saints and scholars,' is attracting international students and for all the right reasons. Ireland's academic excellence with innovative research and great natural beauty has made it a top choice for students around the globe. There are 30,437 international students enrolled in Ireland's higher education institutions, says a report. In March 2024, Kevin Kelly, the Ambassador of Ireland to India, said that there has been a significant increase in the number of Indian students. It has grown 10 times in 10 years, from 700 in 2013 to more than 7,000 in 2023. Also, the country holds the second position in the Global Peace Index 2024 list and 17th in the World Happiness Report 2024, which makes it a friendly and safe country for international students.
