Shocked Palace staff felt ‘run over’ by the behaviour of Sussexes
Sunday Express|September 25, 2022
PALACE courtiers were so unprepared for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s behaviour, they felt they “were run over by her and then run over by Harry”, according to a new book.

It also claimed Meghan Markle never believed she would be accepted into the Royal Family and became “obsessed with that narrative from day one”.

And it revealed that as the couple jetted off on a six-week break to Canada at the end of November 2019, their escape plans were already being laid amid the greatest secrecy.

In his book Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown Royal, author and journalist Valentine Low claimed the pair did not even tell their baby’s nanny where they were going until the private jet was in the air.

He added a source said Palace staff were too genteel and “when someone decides not to be civil, they have no idea what to do”.

Another worker said they tried to make Meghan happy, but “the mistake they made was thinking she wanted to be happy. She wanted to be rejected because she was obsessed with that narrative from day one”.
