The adjustment stems from a rise in excise tax rates on liquors, prompting a corresponding adjustment in liquor prices, as outlined in a release from the Tasmac administration.
According to the released statement, the price of 180 ml of regular and medium quality liquor will see an increment of Rs 10, while the high-quality variant of the same volume will experience a price surge of Rs 20.
Additionally, a Rs 10 hike is applicable to 650 ml of beers sold through Tasmac outlets.
