On the eve of the highly anticipated Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the sprawling Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show. Spanning an impressive 2 lakh square meters across multiple halls at the Helipad Ground Exhibition Centre, this exhibition boasts participation from 20 countries.
During his three-day visit to his home state, PM Modi, alongside Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and other dignitaries, toured the stalls, warmly welcomed by a substantial gathering of local college students.
The day was marked by significant meetings, including interactions with heads of states and officials from Mozambique and TimorLeste, held at the Mahatma Gandhi Mandir, the main summit venue.
In an effort to draw investments and bolster the economy, PM Modi engaged in discussions with a cadre of global CEOs. Key figures from Micron, DP World, Deakin University, and A.P. Moller Maersk were among those with whom Modi held crucial talks.
The exhibition, set to open its doors to business delegates for two days before welcoming the general public for an additional two, is poised to showcase the industrial prowess and capabilities of participating nations. Notably, the event encompasses dedicated sections focusing on diverse themes like 'Make in Gujarat' and 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat,' emphasizing areas such as women empowerment, MSME development, new technology, and sustainable energy.
