The bench comprising of CJI DY Chandrachud and Justice JB Pardiwala, Justice Manoj Misra tagged the present matter with other similar pending case(s) and assured that it would be listed early.
The counsel appearing for the petitioner informed the court that the the issue raised in the case was prevailing on pan-India basis and the Bar Association looked upto the Supreme Court for appropriate redressal.
The bench headed by CJI DY Chandrachud referred to Bar Associations of Allahabad, Bombay and Calcutta High Courts, thus, the bench remarked that it was indeed a very important issue.
