The Supreme Court in the case Central Bureau of Investigation, CBI Versus Baba Gurmeet Singh @ Maharaj Baba Gurmeet Singh @ Baba Singh observed and has issued notice in the SLP filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation, CBI challenging the order of Punjab and Haryana High Court wherein the court acquitted Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh in the 2002 murder of manager Ranjit Singh.
