UAE: WORLD OF COFFEE DUBAI 2024 ATTRACTS 13K+ SPECIALISED VISITORS WITH 30% GROWTH

The 2024 edition of World of Coffee Dubai, oragnised by DXB Live, the integrated event management and experiential agency under the Dubai World Trade Centre, has wrapped up triumphantly. In partnership with the Specialty Coffee Association, the event witnessed an impressive gathering, with over 13,000 dedicated attendees comprising enthusiasts and industry professionals worldwide, representing a 30 per cent growth from last year.

The culminating moment on the final day was the announcement of the victors in the UAE National Barista Championship. This intense competition showcased the skills of the finest baristas in the UAE as they contended for the prestigious title and the opportunity to represent their nation at the World Barista Championship.

Securing the top spot was Michaela Rnazol from Typica Cafe, with Kemal Risyad from Archers Coffee claiming second place, and Nooran Al Bannay from Coffee Architecture securing the third spot. In the Latte Art category, Mondrick Alpas from Gold Box Roastery clinched the first position, followed by Angelo Lagata from Number Five Gate in second place, and Jatfikly Raymond Ampuan from DRVN by Porsche in third place.
