The District Consumer Dispute Redressal Forum, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, in Aditya Shrivastava vs. Air India case has ruled against the Air India asking the company to pay compensation to the complainant on Friday.
Counsel Suchitra Burman said that Aditya Shrivastava, Resident of Basant Vihar Colony, New Purena, Raipur had approached the District Consumer Dispute Redressal Forum, Raipur after the Air India, denied him travel to Delhi which led to cancellation of tickets to Berlin just because the counter attendant of the company asked him to pay extra amount citing the size of his carry bag even after reducing the weight to 8 kg, specified.
