Gift to Jan-Gan from Atal Ji's dream of river linking project

Today marks the 100th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who proclaimed Kadam Milakar Chalana Hoga. Heartfelt tributes are paid to the visionary Prime Minister.

Atal Ji, from being an RSS volunteer to the editor of Rashtradharma and from his responsibilities in the Jana Sangh to the Bharatiya Janata Party, nurtured generations of workers. To make the earth fertile and prosperous, he envisioned the River Linking Project nearly 20 years ago. Madhya Pradesh is blessed with abundant water resources. So, this project will become Bundelkhand's lifeline.
