Chhattisgarh's former minister Kawasi Lakhma's statement on the electronic voting machines has stirred a hornet's nest, with the BJP coming heavily on the comment.
Former Chhattisgarh Minister Kawasi Lakhma made a statement regarding the use of EVMs, stating that if elections were to be held using EVMs, the Congress party would not participate in the elections.
Lakhma also threatened that Congress would launch a large-scale agitation if EVMs are used for voting in the future.
