CIDCO faces legal notice for illegal temples
The Free Press Journal|December 20, 2024
The City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) has been served a legal notice by an environmental group Natconnect Foundation for allegedly failing to comply with judicial orders to remove 30 illegal temples located on the landslide-prone slopes of Belapur Hill.

The notice demands CIDCO's compliance or it will face contempt of court litigation.

The foundation also served a notice to the state government, seeking the removal of the temples identified by CIDCO in a 2015 survey.
