Jayakwadi Dam supports around 300 water supply schemes, including those for Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, and irrigates approximately 1.88 lakh hectares of land in the Marathwada region, making it a crucial irrigation project.
Currently, the dam holds only 11.20% of its water capacity.
