The proposed Senate Bill 72 (SB 72) includes measures that would offer a $1,000 reward to individuals who report undocumented immigrants, leading to their arrest.
Key provisions of the bill
Trespassing offense for undocumented immigrants: The bill introduces a new felony classification for undocumented individuals found in Missouri. Those convicted could face imprisonment without eligibility for probation or parole. Additional penalties would include the loss of voting rights, the inability to obtain a driver's license, disqualification from receiving public benefits
