Bhim Kohli died on 2 September after an incident in a park in Braunstone Town, outside Leicester, the previous evening, when he was allegedly attacked while walking his dog 20 metres from his home.
The girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared yesterday at Leicester youth court, sitting at Leicester magistrates court, where she was granted bail.
