WORK is well underway on Plymouth’s £19m shopping centre which will feature M&S and Aldi stores. Steel frames have gone up at the city’s former Seaton Barracks to create new shops and leisure facilities.
When completed, the Derriford District Centre will include an M&S Foodhall, an Aldi supermarket, a Costa Coffee drive-through, a PureGym venue and a Pets Corner store. Developers are expected to lease a further unit to a hot-food takeaway operator.
