STEVEN Schumacher had some sympathy for Stoke City boss Alex Neil and his players after they conceded a goal in the seventh minute of added time to lose 2-1 to Plymouth Argyle in the Championship.
Schumacher was understandably 'buzzing' about the Pilgrims' comefrom-behind victory, which was sealed by substitute Adam Randell's first-ever goal at Home Park on his 100th appearance for his hometown club.
However, Schumacher also knew how Neil would be feeling after Argyle experienced similar 2-1 last-gasp defeats against Southampton at Home Park and away to Birmingham City in August.
Randell's goal secured a sixth home Championship win of the season for the Pilgrims and moved them up to 16th position with 22 points from 19 games.
Schumacher said: "From our point of view obviously it's a brilliant feeling. We have been on the wrong end of the last kick of the game twice this season and it's a killer when it happens to you so we are delighted to get the three points.
"We are buzzing for our fans to celebrate like that at the death; to celebrate a goal in the Devonport End from a local lad, but you feel a little bit for Alex and their team because they have worked so hard as well, and probably felt they had a point in the bag.
"It is literally the worst feeling in football when that happens, especially when you feel as though you have played well, like we did at Birmingham, and against Southampton as well, and they scored pretty much with the last kick.
