One of those ton-topping checkouts was a 161 that was the best finish of the match and across all fixtures, as well as the season so far.

Agar had earlier in the match set an admirable high checkout mark of 118 before netting the aforementioned massive kill in a 3-2 win over Scott Cook, who ended that match-up on 11 tons.

Cook added a 180 in the defeat but was impervious to the form of Agar, who bagged legs in 12, 18 and 18 darts to see him past Cook 3-2.

Whilst Agar was massively impressive, team-mate John Mann walked away with the top scoring honours with 17 scores of a ton or more overall including his team's other maximum.

Mann was a 3-1 winner in the individual phase with legs of 17 and 18 darts doing the damage, whilst the other 180s in the game belonged to the defeated team and the arm of Andrew Cook.

Cook netted one in the team phase of play before winning his singles by a 3-0 scoreline thanks to the help of a second maximum and a leg in 17 darts.

A high scoring game between Vic-tory A and St Levans saw Anna Pearce top score with thirteen ton plusses for the defeated Keyham side in a 6-5 loss.

Tex Pearce matched that tally with 13 scores of a ton or more and played out an absolute classic in the individual phase with Kelvin Rowe.

Only one of the legs went beyond six visits; a legs of 16 and 14 darts from Rowe were not enough to better Pearce, who nailed 18 and 15 darters in the 3-2 success.

A 110 checkout also proved critical in the defeat of Rowe who himself ended that encounter on ten tons for his evening's work.
