GOALKEEPER Conor Hazard, inset, feels he has settled in at Plymouth Argyle now and believes the team are ‘proving a few people wrong’ with their good performances in the Championship at the start of the season.

Hazard preserved a point for Steven Schumacher’s Pilgrims with a trio of saves in added time at the end of their 1-1 draw away to in-form Hull City at the MKM Stadium.

The Northern Ireland international has started all nine of Argyle’s Championship matches this term after his summer signing from Celtic in a £150,000 transfer.

Hazard said: “I think I have grown well into it. I think I have adapted to the gaffer’s way of play. It took a few weeks just to come in and get settled. That’s nine games in now, so hopefully many more to come.”

Argyle’s draw against Hull leaves them in 13th position in the Championship table going into back-toback home games against Millwall tonight and Swansea City on Saturday.
