ROONEY HAS NOT INDICATED WHICH CLUBS THE OFFERS FOR THE TWO PILGRIMS' PLAYERS HAVE COME FROM
- CHRIS ERRINGTON
BIDS REJECTED

WAYNE Rooney has declared that bids Plymouth Argyle have received for Michael Cooper and Morgan Whittaker have been 'very far away' from the club's valuation of their two talented players.

Two-time Argyle player-of-theyear Cooper has been at the centre of speculation this summer surrounding interest in him from Sheffield United, while Whittaker, who was the Pilgrims' 20-goal top scorer last season, has repeatedly been linked with Scottish Premiership side Rangers.

Herald Sport reported at the start of July that Cooper had turned down the chance to sign a new contract which would have made him the club's highest paid player ever, and as it stands his current deal will end next summer.
