PLYMOUTH is set to get another big wheel on the Hoe – if planning permission is granted.
Event Attractions Limited plan to bring their Observation Wheel to Plymouth Hoe in the spring of 2024, subject to planning approval.
A four-year licence has been awarded to the company by Plymouth City Council which means there could be a 38-metre-high wheel with 24 Gondolas, providing 360-degree views across the Hoe and surrounding areas in time for summer next year.
The wheel will be constructed before Easter and run until the end of September each year from 2024 to 2027.
Event Attractions Director James Rogers said: “We hope this will be a great attraction for the city and will be popular with residents and visitors alike, and offer an extra reason for people to visit the city.
