PLYMOUTH beer lovers are being given the chance to buy a slice of a planned £400,000 brewery.
Bosses at Bulletproof Brewing Co have ambitious plans to bring Plymouth’s famous Octagon Brewery back to life and are seeking investors.
There will be a presentation to potential investors at 7.30pm tonight at the Bulletproof Brewing tap house on Mutley Plain. At least 30 people have already said they will be attending, and anyone else who is interested is invited.
They will see new 3D images of how the brewery could look and hear details about the proposal. There are planned viewings of the Octagon site for those who are keen on investing but can’t attend.
Bulletproof Brewing is proposing that investors commit a minimum of £10,000, and for that will receive equity in the company, including the successful Mutley Plain operation, and earn a dividend each year. Already, four investors have committed a combined £70,000, and another four are said to be keen to join them.
