Launched by YMCA Plymouth, the awards, sponsored by Westcotts, will be presented in 16 categories recognising young people up to the age of 18 who are making a positive impact in their communities.
The awards ceremony will be held at the Crowne Plaza on June 19, hosted by David Fitzgerald, alongside well known street dance star Toby Gorniak.
In the run-up to the awards, The Herald will be showcasing the nominees.
Today we profile the Entrepreneur of the Year, sponsored by Acronyms.
Jensen Hughes
JENSEN represented his school, Cann Bridge, in the "Tycoon" national enterprise competition, generating almost £2,000.
Despite the competition being primarily for mainstream schools, he demonstrated that, with the right support, everyone can excel in entrepreneurship and develop valuable work skills.
