Charity to hold pop-up event

A PLYMOUTH charity which was set up to help needy families and orphaned children in Romania is now fundraising for boots and socks for Ukrainian soldiers suffering from ‘trench foot’.

The Rainbow Project is aiming to purchase £1,000 worth of footwear and socks from Trago Mills, as it learned from a link-up with partner group PUMA (Plymouth Ukraine Medical Aid) that front-line soldiers in Ukraine are suffering from the ailment – which was common during World War One.
