After losing their first four games of the campaign, Parkway have turned things around with a 3-0 win over Hendon kicking their season into life. But for two controversial red cards in the Devon derby at Tiverton and two stoppage time goals they would have won at Ladysmead as well, while progress was made in the FA Cup last weekend with a 2-0 win over Dorchester Town.
Parkway will look to extend that unbeaten run to four tomorrow when they host Hanwell Town at Bolitho Park, but following a return to form, Hobbs and co are only looking up after that slow start to the season.
"We have to be pleased, we have had two clean sheets, we are through to the next round of the FA Cup and it is really pleasing," Hobbs said.
"Right throughout when we were losing games - I said it on camera and I'll say it again - there was never any panic from us as staff or players. We knew we were good enough to compete and win games at this level and we knew what it would take to win games.
