STEVEN Schumacher was pleased with a lot of aspects of Plymouth Argyle's performance even though they were beaten 4-0 by Championship leaders Leicester City at King Power Stadium on Saturday.
It was the Pilgrims' heaviest defeat of the Championship campaign but Schumacher thought the effort and commitment was there from his players.
His side only trailed 1-0 at the interval - after a 14th minute penalty from Stephy Mavididi - but Leicester then showed ruthlessness in front of goal as they netted three times in six minutes early in the second period as they continued to set a very strong pace at the top of the table.
Schumacher said: "Four-nil is obviously not a scoreline we wanted before the game but I was actually really pleased with a lot of aspects of how we played.
